The concept of the studio was simple: to build a great sounding, highly accurate mix room with results that would translate across any audio playback system. “Having a great room with great acoustics is just as important as your gear; you can have the best equipment, and a great mixer, but without a great room, your not going to get the mix you want.” The room was designed from the ground up structurally, electrically, and acoustically; with a “cut no corners” approach taken (right down to the 900 pound door). In the end, all of the desired goals were achieved without compromise, and a great mix room was born.
